Eric J. Harris, J.D.

In 2006, Attorney Eric J. Harris, joined with Attorney Marianna Hofer to form Hofer & Harris LLP. The partnership continued until Ms. Hofer’s retirement in December of 2010. During that time, Mr. Harris focused his law practice exclusively on estate planning, trust, estate, and probate administration. Mr. Harris is a member of the State Bar of California, Los Angeles County Bar Association, South Bay Bar Association, South Bay Estate Planning Council, and Torrance Kiwanis. Before becoming a lawyer, Mr. Harris worked in the high tech industry.

Marianna Hofer, J.D., Retired

Marianna Hofer practiced law in the South Bay for 25 years before retiring in December of 2010. After raising her children, she became a non-traditional law student in her 50s, graduating from Loyola Law near the top of her class. Ms. Hofer will be remembered both personally and professionally for her warmth, enthusiasm, genuine care for the elderly and as one who held to her conscientious and thrifty values. Pro bono and community service were central to her core values. She will be missed and we wish her all the best in her well-deserved retirement.
